Sprucing up your property - Danbury Mill continues to be a very desirable location as property values start to rise. Please help us keep a higher standard and take a good look at your property and what you can do to make us all look better. Your Danbury Mill HOA Board continues to keep the common areas in good repair and properly maintained. It is our hope that you will continue to take the same pride in your property and help with our Danbury Mill image by keeping your house, walkways and driveway clean of mildew, and keeping the grass green, cut (weekly during the summer growing season), trimmed, and weed-free.
Vinyl siding requires pressure-washing at least once a year to keep it free of mold and mildew. This can be done for around $100. The driveways and walkways should also be cleaned as well and your roof chemically cleaned if needed.
Please advise us of any changes you want to make to your home’s exterior with a timely ARB request so that, as much as possible, we can all be assured of good work at the right price and that the right type and colors are used when siding or roofing is being installed. Additional ARB information is available.
Tennis/Pickleball Courts- Our tennis /pickleball courts have been newly renovated (2023) and are ready for action! A practice wall has been added for warming up or individual skill practice.
Renovations/repairs are continuously made because you need to know that we are very interested in keeping our community in good repair and looking the very best. The cabana is the center piece of our community, and as such, we need to keep it looking good for you and those who come looking for a place to call home. Potential buyers come into the community and they almost always stop and look at the cabana area as a testimony to how much we care about where we live.
Alarms - Here is a great tip straight from a neighborhood watch coordinator. Keep your car keys on the night stand next to your bed at night. If someone tries to break into your house, or if you hear a suspicious noise outside your house, just press the panic alarm on your car. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the key chain. This "alarm" costs you nothing and the results are an effective way to chase away would-be intruders. This tactic will work to drive away intruders to your motel room if your room happens to be adjacent to your parked car!
